Offering a Full Range of Mental Health Services to the Community Since 1973
We are a private out-patient facility offering supportive and therapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults and their families.
Typical problems treated are depression, anxiety, stress disorders, grief and loss, school problems, marital conflict, spouse and child abuse, divorce, reconciliation and sexual dysfunction.
To assure quality services, our staff consults with psychiatrists and psychologists.
We accept most insurances, including traditional Blue Cross Blue Shield insurances, Priority Health and Blue Care Network. We also participate with Medicare. We provide contract services to various units of the State of Michigan. We offer sliding scale fees and we do not have waiting lists.
Maple Clinic has two
major locations:
in Traverse City at 525 South Union (in Olde Towne) and in Kalkaska at 786 South Cedar (next to Glen's Market).
We are affiliated with a counseling organization in Frankfort.
Seminars:
We have sponsored many seminars
for the professionals and lay people in our local community.
History of The
Maple Clinic:
The Maple Clinic, Inc. was established
in 1973 in
Oakland County with the mission to provide a full range of mental health
services in one clinic location. At one time there were three major
branches of the clinic: in Birmingham, Ortonville and Traverse City.
The Birmingham Clinic was sold in 1997 and the Ortonville clinic was re-located to
Traverse City in 2000.
