Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan has granted permission to transfer our downstate contract with them to Traverse City, effective earlier this year. Now we can include people who have traditional BCBSM, PPOs, additional State of Michigan employees, Blue Choice and Blue Care Network.
For the time being the two Maple clinics are located in the same building at 525 S. Union, Traverse City.
The treatment staff includes most of the therapists of the Traverse City facility: Barbara Cross, MSW, John Edwards, MSW, David Rushlow, MSW, Art Newhouse, MA, Lynn Feeter, MSW and John Vanderlind, MSW.Several new therapists are being added to the roster. They include:Daniel Thatch, MSW, Kristin Sulecki, MSW & Rebecca Dobler, MSW.

Daniel Thatch, MSW, ACSW
Joining The Clinic is Daniel Thatch, who comes to us with extensive experience at Metro Medical Group and Henry Ford Hospital. He has worked with Health Alliance Plan (HAP) and Detroit Edison’s Employee Assistance Program doing crisis intervention. He also has experience in Grief and Loss and its effects on the work place. He worked on Detroit Edison’s Incident Response Team. Dan’s work here will be with a variety of issues, ranging from adolescence to adults. He can be reached at 946-9575.
MARY LOU STEWART, MSW, CSW
Also joining The Clinic is Mary Lou Stewart who comes to us from the Saginaw Bay area where she worked for many years in the Lutheran Child and Family Service organization. She has been a program manager, supervisor of Intensive Treatment both in foster care and residential units. She has many years of experience working with youthful offenders and victims in both individual and groups. She will help expand our treatment services for pre-adolescents.
